(This tutorial is for a 3” x 3” square of Designer Paper but it can be done with any size.)
- Cut two coordinating pieces of Designer Paper
into 3” x 3” pieces.
- Cut one square into ½” strips. (These will be loose pieces.)
- With the other square, lay the paper in your
paper cutter and cut at ½” intervals up to the ½” guide on ruler. When you’re finished, you’ll
basically have a ½” strip of paper with ½” wide strips hanging from it.
- Take your ½” loose strips of paper and weave them into the second
square. You’ll want to be
sure to keep the first woven strip of each piece tight against the line of
the other piece. This will
help keep you on track for a straight weave.
- Adhere the ends of each strip to the piece of
paper underneath. (no loose ends)
- That’s it; you have a woven piece of paper!
