I wanted to share a quick and easy card with you today so you can spend more time checking out the new Idea Book & Catalog. Do you recognize the base color of this card? No? Well, that is called Pool Party. It is one of the New In-Colors. Isn't it a pretty color? How about the stamp set? It's called my friend and you can find it on page 139 of the new book. This is not the best photo. Sorry, it's a little overexposed. I stamped the beautiful silhouette shape in versamark and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I punched a strip of whisper white and a strip of basic black card stock with the scallop border punch and layered them together and adhered them just below the silhouette image. I tied some Basic Black Satin ribbon around in a bow for some extra interest rather than a knot since the focal is so subtle. I then added the greeting in Basic Black and thought it was lovely and elegant enough to stop there.

Really hope we get this set in our new catty in September as it makes a fab simple but effective card. I looked through your new IB&C today and saw quite a lot that I hope we get. Time will tell.
