No fancy cuts or folds or techniques here, just straight-up stamping, cutting and assembling. Don't you just love it when it's so easy to make a beautiful card? I began with an Early Espresso card base that I did some paper piercing on. I then added my greeting from Three Little Words, which you can get for FREE by the way with a Sale-A-Bration order, and then I embossed it with white embossing powder to make it stand out a little bit more. I didn't want it to get lost under the power of the large flower. I then used a piece of scrap paper to mask off the area below the paper piercing and stamped the beautiful baroque image from Bliss in Vera Mark on the top half to give it some visual texture. I then crated my flower using Melon Mambo card stock and the Fun Flowers Die from the Occasions Mini. I did sponge the edges to give them a little more depth. I added a cute little Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric Brad, also from the Occasions Mini. For the leaves this time, instead of using card stock, I used some Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon that I simple folded in half to give them more volume and adhered them to the back of the flower with some glue dots for a little bit more sticking power than regular adhesive. I then added the flower to the card base using dimensionals. There you have it. I'll be back tomorrow with another Nature Walk sample for ya. See you then. Smiles.
