Did you know that Sale-A-Bration starts in just 5 more days? That's right it begins on January 25th and runs through March 31st. And just to get you a little more excited, I thought I would share some Sale-A-Bration sample Sneak Peeks between now and then.
This first card uses my favorite stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration Mini. It is called Bliss and is on page 10. I love that baroque image, it's just gorgeous. I kept this card pretty straight-forward and I think that's part of what makes it so striking. I used Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler with a touch of Crumb Cake. For the base, I ran a piece of Basic Black through my Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Impression Folder. Next I stamped my baroque image in black on a piece of Very Vanilla. I then added a piece of Fine Print DSP to the bottom of it. On top of that I added a piece of Cherry Cobbler that I punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch. I rounded the top corners of the Very Vanilla and added it to the card base with dimensionals. I then tied on some Victoria Crochet Trim found on page 190 in the big catalog. Next, I stamped my butter fly in Cherry Cobbler on a piece of Very Vanilla and cut it out. I then stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake and punched it out with the Decorative Label punch. (I'm working on a video for you guys on how to change the size so keep an eye out for that.) I then wrinkled up the Crumb Cake piece and softened it up a bit. I added it to the right edge using glue dots. I then place the butterfly in the center with glue dots. For added embellishment, I added some rhinestones that I colored black, to the center of the butterfly and also the greeting. Enjoy! I'll see you tomorrow for another sneak peek.
