I decided to do a watercolor technique on this card. To do that, I took a piece of watercolor paper and inked up my focal image from Nature Walk using markers in Old Olive and Cherry Cobble and then misted the stamp with water before stamping on my paper. The extra water is what give it that bleeding effect. I repeated that a couple more times until I was happy with the result. I then added the little number stamp in Early Espresso. I tore the top edge and then added a strip of Old Olive to the edge that I used the scallop border punch on. That completes my focal point.
Do you see that pretty flourish in the back on the Cherry Cobbler base? That is created with a beautiful image from the Sale-A-Bration set called Bliss. I think it works really well with the Nature Walk Stamp set. I repeated that image on the background to give it more depth. Next, I layered a piece of Early Espresso that I ran through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Impression Folder that I attached a strip of Botanical Gazette DSP to the bottom edge. That's the base.
For the embellishment, I added a piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding using sticky strip. I then took my focal image and added a Vintage Brad to it and tied a tag around it using some linen thread. I created the tag with a partial image from the You're A Gem stamp set in Early Espresso and punched it out with the Jewelry Tag punch. Then, using dimensionals I added the focal point overlapping the seam binding.
