Hi Gang. Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday but hopefully it will be worth wait. I have seen so fun ideas of creating a door with a wreath hanging on it and I thought I would give that a try. Here is what I came up with. The photo doesn't do this card justice. It's hard to see the contrast and shading on the actual card with the white background. The base is Very Vanilla and so are the door panels. All of the Very Vanilla was sponged around the edges with Crumb Cake ink. The panels were then raised with dimensionals. I stamped the wreath from Welcome Christmas with Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock and cut it out. It's not as bad as you might think it cut it out. This was adhered to the front of the door with dimensionals. I added the bow using some Real Red Satin ribbon. The tag was made using Crumb Cake card stock and Chocolate Chip ink. The "Merry" is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I then punched it out with Jewelry Tag Punch and hung it from under the bow with some linen thread. TIP: I stamp the front and back of little tags like this so if they flip over you can still read the greeting. And finally I added 3 rhinestones to the wreath that I colored with a red sharpie. And to finish the whole card off, I needed a door knob, so I used a 5/16" Chocolate Chip Brad.
Edited to add: the top panels are 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". The bottom panels are 1 1/2" x 2 1/2".
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Welcome Christmas & Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake & Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip & Crumb Cake
Accessories: Rhinestone, Red Sharpie Marker, Real Red Satin Ribbon, 5/16" Chocolate Chip Brad, Linen Thread, Jewelry Tag Punch and Dimensionals
