The above card is for those that aren't interested in the videos. It is a super simple Father's Day card. I used Taken With Teal for the card base and ran the lower third of the card through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder. I then added some Designer Series Paper from the Throughly Modern Collection. Next is some Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon (see the videos below for tying). Then I cut out a piece of Shimmery White & Chocolate Chip Card Stock using the Lots of Tags Die for the Big Shot. I then stamped the greeting from Well Scripted (Occasions Mini) in Chocolate Chip ink on the Shimmery White piece. Next, I took the Chocolate Chip die cut and cut it in half. I used adhesive to position it one half slight above and one half slightly below. This give the effect of layering. I then added some Chocolate Chip 5/8" brads to the top and bottom and adhered it with dimensionals. That's it!
Now onto the videos. The last couple of videos I posted have had a great response. I have been thinking for awhile about doing a series of videos on Design Basics. Since the previous videos were such a big hit, I am planning to follow through with that idea. I will be calling the series Design Basics 101. That should help you find all of the videos in the series. Any other videos I do will have their own title. Please let me know what you think of this idea and what other things you would like to see videos on.
Since I use so much ribbon on my cards and because it is one of the biggest questions I get, I thought I would begin with tying knots and bows. Below are 4 different videos.
The First: Tying Basic Knots
The Second: Tying Knots with Printed Ribbon (only on one side)
The Third: Tying Basic Bows
The Fourth: Tying Bows with Printed Ribbon

Hi Sherri!
What super videos to have in my "toolbox" to refer back to when I am having problems tying knots and bows!
Thanks so much for making these!

Hi Sherri,
Your first Design Basics Videos were great! Very nicely done and very easy to follow...I will be tying and demonstrating bows/knots like a pro! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to do videos for us visual learners!
