Hi Gang. Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great time visiting family and doing some relaxing and organizing around here. I know that doesn't sound relaxing to most but for me it is relaxing. Yes, I'm weird that way. Now, on to the card. I thought to begin the new year I would start with a card for Kristina's 36th Color Challenge and give you a little sneak peek at a new set from the upcoming Spring/Summer Catalog that will be out in just 18 days. It is called Sweet Stems and this gorgeous DS paper is called Raspberry Tart. Isn't it yummy? The official colors were Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and Whisper White. The only modification I made was to use Kiwi Kiss instead of Old Olive. I stamped my flower in Black Stazon on watercolor paper and colored with my aqua painter. I did emboss that little white greeting. I added some Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon and raised it all up with some dimensionals. I thought the DS on the background was a little different. Wow, this is stunning....what a great card. That paper just did not appeal to me, but it is beginning to now that I have seen a few things done with it!
