Color Challenge #3
I decided to participate in Kristina's color challenge again this week. It is really forcing me out of my comfort zone. These are not colors I would put together. I hardly ever even use Orchid Opulence. It may have a little too much black according to the challenge but I can live with that. To the left is the inspiration room for the challenge. The colors we were to use were: orchid opulence, pumpkin pie, rose red and very little black and white.
I used the Big Blossoms again with the a Perfect Day rub-ons again. I did do some stamping this time. I used Absolutely Fabulous for my greeting. I didn't have a greeting but it is hard for me to create a card and not put a greeting on it somewhere. I also incorporated some Bali Breeze designer paper to help tie it all together. Then some black grossgrain, a little felt flower and a black brad. Tons of dimensionals as well. What do you think?

Love the flower trio..how beautifully u have used them..!!

You might be out of your comfort zone but this turned out beautifully! I love the color combo and this is one of the best cards that I think have been created as a result of the challenge.

One of the BEST on the comment chain in my opinion! It turned out beautiful! You should use this combo again and again! I really like the amount of black.

I love this card. I haven't yet puled out my flower die cuts, but this is a great use of them.
