I have been wanting to create this tutorial since I did the knot tutorial. My recomendation is to take a piece of ribbon and cardstock and sit down in front of the TV or some other mindless activity where you can just practice until you feel comfortable with it. I hope this is helpful to you all.
Step 1
Lay out your cardstock and ribbon. It might be helpful if you put a little adhesive on the back of ribbon in one little spot to keep it in place.
Step 2
Bring the left over the right. This step begins the same as the knot.
Step 3
Loop this end under and pull.
Step 4
Make a loop with the right side tail.
Step 5
Bring the left tail behind and in front of the loop in your right hand.
Step 6
Insert this tail through the hole you just created.
Step 7
You have now created two loops Pull each evenly. and adjust to make it neat and tidy.
Final
You can do this same bow with any type of ribbon. Here you will see the wide grossgrain and the narrow.
